I wanted to give Doug Beasley at Beasley Custom Cues(digdug on AZ) a big THANK YOU for sponsoring me for the US Amateur this past weekend. He also took the time to fly down and attend the event with me. It was a great time. We finished tied for 17th...

Strokers has some outstanding food. I'm pretty sure we ate shrimp for three straight days.:grin:

doug is a super nice guy....who i have seen give back to the pool community for sure... i hope one day to have one of his cues in my hands...props for doug.... :thumbup:

It's always great to see a cue maker sponsor a player and it's awesome that he took the time to actually fly out there to show his support. Doug makes one heck of a cue too! Kudos to Beasley Custom Cues and congrats on your fine showing at the US Amateur Acuraheel! :thumbup:

Congrats to you and Doug on your very solid showing in a tough field! Doug spoke highly of your play when I talked with him a while back. I'm sure that beautiful cue that Doug made you didn't hurt your chances at doing well, one bit :D

Thanks for sharing that Doug is continuing to give back to pool and infusing the sport with some much needed support along with building some sweet cues. All I can say, is I will definitely have pride in the ownership of my cue to be, especially knowing who it came from. Doug, thanks again for taking over where another person to remain nameless dropped the ball. Those of us who were in that situation know you didn't have to take up the slack and it just shows who you are as a person that you did.

Spot on Kevin! Very nice words, and glad some of you guys who were in that situation have been able to work something out in a proper way. Doug definitely showed some class stepping in that situation. He has been supportive for George, me, and many others, and I'll be a proud owner when he's done with my cues as well.

Thanks for the kind words. Doug builds a great cue and is just as good a person. That's hard to find these days in the pool world. He's definitely an asset to the pool scene in this area. I'm sure you will love your cue.:thumbup:
