Beat them down with a Varney!

I fo give myself a bit of credit. I did prepare for the tourney.......not discrediting anyone who uses a schon, gilbert, olivier or any other cue.........:)

there is a barbox in the back

There is a barbox in the back now, or was last time I was there. Remember the third barbox that was closest to the money table? All it was ever used for was holding cue cases and the tourney bracket sheet so Buff put a writing table there and moved that barbox to the back. I really haven't played on it though, in fact I haven't played on any of them since the last time we did.

There is a new Ricochet's opening in Prairieville near my shop. No idea what tables they will have or what the rates will be but I'm still waiting on it to open. Kinda like watching water waiting for it to boil, it ain't happening! No tables put in last I noticed. :frown:

Hu If I remember how them Diamonds there play. I dont have a snowball's chance in hell.......so I stick to barbox :):) but I love heads up 8 ball......

So very true its the Indian not the arrow... I mean I always hear a good poolplayer can shoot with any cue which I partially agree.......But Im too finicky when it comes to playing with any cue........Right weight. good tip..... balance.........shaft taper..........and my Varney is jsut a part of my arm now......

Thanks again everyone!!!
