** Beautiful new pool room in Merced, CA -- Breaktime Billiards **

Hello All,

With all of the post's regarding rooms being shutdown, I wanted to mention that there is a new pool hall that just opened last week in Merced, CA. Breaktime billiards in Merced is located at

1822 Canal st.
Merced, CA

The owner, Joe Gonzales, has done a wonderful job of putting together a true "players" room. The room consists of 11 brand new 9' Diamond Pro-AMs and 2 brand new 7' Diamond Smart Tables. All tables feature Simonis tournament blue cloth and play jam up! In addition to the awesome tables, there is a nice lounge area with 4 sofas and a projection system for watching streamed matches. If you are in the area, please come by and check it out. If you want to know some more information, please call (209)383-pool and ask for Joe.

Great Info! The room looks a little old school:cool:. And the Diamonds look badass. I will check it out on my next California tour;). Thanks.
 
Great looking room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will have to make a trip in the future to check it out. Nice idea on the projection area!!
 
Damn I just went through there last week. I'll have to make a trip down and check it out.
 
@jay -- the Gold Crowns are residing in his Modesto room.

nice looking room, did Ferroni's close? i havent been to Merced in 20? years.
 
Nice to see what a good room looks like !!

Man I wish someone would open up a room in my area like this one . Theres only one real billiard room arounn and thats over 60 miles away one way trip. :( So only other place is a bowling alley where they let the kids crawl all over the tables and they wonder why they roll out all the time,,,Nice to see a room like this so I can see what a real room looks like ,,,,<<ED

I like the idea of watching streamed matches in the projection room. Joe spared no expense here, very nice place.
 
@Fatboy - Ferronis closed down about a year ago or so. The state was expanding highway 140 and Dave was forced to close due to imminent domain. Dave sold all of his equipment and is no longer in the pool business.

Merced has some solid all around players who are passionate about pool....they needed a room badly and Joe delivered!!
