I am thinking about “jazzing up” my Becue Naked butt, which is plain carbon fiber from joint to butt cap covered in clear coat.
I have contacted an air brush artist who does his work on a variety of things and also deals with auto clear coat.
At this point, I am thinking something simple like maybe a fake wrap in a bright pearl white to contrast with the black of the carbon fiber. I may get more ideas when he contacts me back.
I have both the Snow White and black carbon fiber shafts.
I used to shoot shortrange benchrest. Those guys painted their usually fiberglass, graphite, or carbon fiber stocks. Some had them where it looked like tuck and roll upholstery if I have the name right, some had full murals on their rifles, almost no limit to what could be. I painted mine with what was known to Chevy as flame red and to a coworker as "she swallows red", a phrase he used when he saw a Corvette go by! I called all of my benchrest rifles the ladies in red as a group in the hopes they wouldn't act like a bitch!

Edit: Late breaking idea! How about painting the cue white including the shaft until just before your bridging area. Paint a thin red stripe spiraling around the white. Go into strange places with the stick out and some dark Blues Brothers or full wrap safety shades on and you should be able to get some great spots!
