Before and after pix of my garage/poolroom

I like it. When is the AZ get-to geather at your place going to be? I am jealous too.

Well done, I just finished mine this year and love playing in it. My only issue in Dallas was the cooling system was not getting the garage as cool as I would like so I had to get a small air conditioner to compensate. My only regret is that I did not put in a wood floor, then again the epoxy looks just fine.

How did the epoxy work out on the floor?... any pics?

Alright Dennis, you got me! When are we going to play? I can't do the all night games like you but I might come out of retirement to play there for an hour or so :-)

uh oh I think I opened a can of worms. lol. just kidding. You know your welcome anytime Shane. Just get my number from one of the guys and give me a call whenever you wanna play a little. I dont mind losin. :D (too much)

and thanks for all the kind words yall. I put alot of work into the room. And to answer cocobolo, what car? who needs a car when youve got a table at home. J/k car goes in the driveway its a p.o.s anyways.

As for the metro it plays awesome. The pockets are tight but fair. Like mully said. If you hit the ball good itll go but dont expect to slop anything in. If the ball rattles it wont go. None of that rattling and then drop after a few seconds. If it rattles it stays up. The table will make you a better shotmaker thats for sure. Ive gone up at least 2 balls since ive gotten the table.

and its bottles all the way for me joey. Im actually gonna get rid of the kegerator soon its too much trouble (checking co2 rolling in kegs. etc....). Im gonna get a fullsize fridge and fill it to the top with bottles.

and if any azers are every in corpus christi. look me up, we'll can play some.

I see you drape... errr... break to the right.

I always loved the look of the Metro, but never fortunate to play on one.

How much play do you get out of it? Practice time and games? Has it made your caliber jump significantly since you got it?

Very nice!

Ive been practicing breaking from the right that why the track marks. Ill have some on the other side soon too. unfortanately. But my breaks getting better.

I try to practice at least 12 hours a week, the tables mostly used for practice its rare that i shoot with anyone else.(thats what the pool halls for, plus i get to check out the waitreses :)) and since ive had the table ive jumped up at least 2 balls. One of these days that 9 ball ghost will be mine.

absolutely beautiful

Your new pool room is absolutely beautiful.

My garage currently looks similar to your first picture, except I have no water heater or laundry there, but also no continuous paint on the walls. Seriously: how much work was involved in getting that room sealed up and air/ temp controlled? I'm also thinking I would need permits to do that to mine.

not much work. but it was a little expensive, I had a contractor blow insulation into the walls and ceiling for 500$. after that it was just tape float and texture and paint. The biggest expense (other than the table of course) was paying a contractor to take out the garage door and build a wall that was 2grand. But now that its all done i coudlnt be happier.

uuuh and what are permits? :D
