I hope he debones your avatar. Just kidding. I have always purposely mispronounced suave and debonair as swave and deboner, chick for chic. Just a little ornamental humor.

JAM, are you going to post all your pics in an album or dole them out piece by piece so that we are always left hungry for more? :D You sure got some good ones and I know everyone would love to see them all in one place. Especially if you add commentary!

Thanks and take care,
Linda

Thank you, Linda, for the kind words. I also enjoyed seeing the pictures from the other AzB-ers in attendance, to include you, Linda, and, of course, Diana Hoppe's always seem to capture the essence of any event she attends.

I'm still trying to match up some of the faces with names on some of my pics. There were quite a few international players in Orlando that I had not had the privilege of seeing previously.

Fortunately, I think we have all been treated to many fine reports on the IPT KOTH Shootout. I must say that for me, my favorite part of the whole event was seeing the excitement generated by the players themselves. The first "real" tournament up ahead in February is going to be the BEST of the BEST, and I can't wait to see you and Mike there. We're all going to be ready to rumble! :D

BTW, I have received several phone calls from local pro-caliber players who are desparately wanting to learn anything and everything about the upcoming qualifier for the IPT. It is truly the talk of the town in my neck of the woods. One player actually quit playing a while back because of the gloom-and-doom existence of American pool, but he's now practicing again, wanting to get in stroke, and enjoy his passion for pool once more. :)

Great, can't wait to see your collection! February IPT is going to be the greatest. Like Bernie, I don't know if I will be able to chalk my cue, let alone play. We are counting down the days. Postponing it gave us more time to practice, but cranks up the anxiety level too.

We have been putting the word out about the qualifiers. I hope they do one near us - we have 2-3 rooms wanting to hold one, and Dan Louie is brushing up to play, as is Geiler, Atwell, Horsfall, Brady Golan, JD and a few others up here just in the NW. $2000 is a steep entry fee, especially if you add on travel expenses, but the payback on the investment can be hundreds of thousands of dollars over the next 3 years (if they stay in the top 100). Will be great to see you and Keith there again. This time, I want my pic taken with you 2.
