Women masters are eligible for this event! Any women rated grandmaster or elite need to check for eligibility with me or by calling Dave at the Carom Room. Women pro players are only eligibile for the open events.

Tables available for free practice from 10am until noon. No practice during the calcutta so get there early. First round starts approximately 1:30pm.

Remember this is a "no masters" event. Eligibility is determined by using national lists (BCAPL, VNEA, ACS), known ability and/or references. If you are not sure if you are eligible please check first with myself (via PM) or call and talk to Dave at the Carom Room (number on the flyer).

If you happen to be running late then please call the Carom Room (608-365-1811) to make sure we add you to the players list. Thanks!

We had 87 players last month. Check the previous results link to see who you might be competing against and how much you can win!!!

I may be able to attend

If I stay over this week, I may attend. You only have to pay for
my entry and a few bud lights.

Thanks.

I recall you being on a Master's list a long, long time ago. Maybe if you can get Potts down to play and if you can't beat him then we know you are OK to play.

Otherwise, you need to bring a car-full of Wisconsin's finest non-master players if you expect Dave to give you any deals :)

With the tournament going there are still plenty of tables available for practice, action or AzB king challenge matches.

For those who prefer not to play you can still sweat the action by buying a couple of horses in the calcutta.

Saturday forecast is still clear & dry.

Great chance to test your skills before the upcoming Wisconsin BCA event. Bring your whole team!

Only 2 events left to qualify to play in the big $$$$ added final event.

Make sure you get qualified by playing in at least 1 event.

It looks like about 7 or 8 people from Oshkosh (including myself) will be making the trip down to donate this weekend.

I'll be making the trip from Iowa with one of my teammates. I'm looking forward to the tournament. I went to 3 or 4 of the tournaments at The Carom Room and Rockford last year. They were well run with good competition and plenty of action...or at least all the action I could handle.

Getting some snow today but still calling for clear skies tomorrow. Hope everyone has a safe trip!

Hell, the way Potts played that day at the Olympia Open II...anybody present at the tournament would have been hard-pressed to beat him. He broke and ran out 70% of the times he broke!!! That is no easy feat playing 8-ball on a barbox. Granted we were playing winner breaks which certainly favors someone on a roll.

I recall JP throwing out that challenge before so I thought I'd stir the "Potts" a bit to help out. Dean found somewhere with easier action anyhow!

I-39

I-88 from Iowa, to I-39 was perfect. I came a bit early to allow for the weather and the roads were fine for anyone coming from the south.
