Players of all skill levels welcome. No limits & no handicaps ;)

Ladies play free in all "open" events!

For the "open" tourneys we generally do not take advance sign-ups. It's a bit more old school just show up, pay & play.

Check out the previous results posted on the website. We are starting our fourth season so lots of info on numbers and players. I would say an average "open" field is mid-50's.

Well, I'm HOPING to come to this event......Haven't play much but what pool player says that. It's not like I would tell you I've been on the road and I'm playing awesome. Then I would go for alot in the calcutta. But anyway been working alot and I want to come and get drilled by everyone. Hope to be there...............

Only in Beloit... Diamond tables, great food, great drink, great staff, great calcutta. You get the idea ;)

Thursday night tourney

Duane,
How many Thursday night tourneys do you need to enter to qualify for the year end event? And do you know what the date for the year end event is?

Duane,

Only once in order to qualify for a finals. Normally two finals a year. One will be in Novemeber this year and then again in April 2012.

The big deal on Thursdays is the break-n-run pot now nearing $30,000!! New players need to play 3 times to qualify for the full amount otherwise I believe it is prorated (not sure of the actual percentage).

We are off & running into the 1st round of matches. 51 players today with $796 added plus $3260 in the calcutta for a $5,206 payout for this tourney.

Winners side...

Gary Lutman vs Josh Johnson for king-of-the-hill

1-loss side...

Chris Patterson vs Mike Henderson

Scott Tollefson vs Dave Coles

Tough field today. A few examples of early exits are Tom Karabotsas, Bobby Hunter, Jesse Bowman and Chad Vilmont.

Looks like some of the best showed up. Can you post the list of players like in the NM events ?

Final 3 starting at noon today...

Gary Lutman vs Dave Coles

winner plays Josh Johnson

On the Carom Room website we put up complete results, payouts & player lists for each tourney. Check out it in the "tournament" section. This tourney will be posted there by Tuesday at the latest.

Dave made quick work of Gary to start the day with a 9-2 set. The next set went back and forth culiminating in a hill-hill scratch by Josh on the break. Dave worked it out to win the first set!
