Twice a month starting in September on the bar box. Added money, calcutta, $10 greens fee and nothing taken out of prize money or calcutta!!

One event per month is "open" and one event is "no masters" and both are no handicap tournaments. Ladies play free in open events.

All events are scheduled for 1-day. The Carom Room has 23 tables, great food and of course all your favorite beverages!

sound like a great little tour you got starting. hope to show up for some of the events. is that rockford tournment going on tomorrow.

I haven't seen any tournaments advertised for Rockford this weekend. The only place it could be is the Rockford Billiard Cafe.

The Beloit tourney kicks off September 13th with a "no masters" (or above) 9-ball event. The first "open" event will be September 27th and should bring in a really strong field.

Did I forget to mention it is 1k added or more!!!

Lets get the players out and get something great going in the Midwest again.

Equipment?

Hope these fill up for you. Good Luck

All of the 14 bar boxes are Valley tables which are used for the tournament.

The Carom Room also has one 9' Diamond, one snooker table (Brunswick), one Veerhoven heated billiard table and 6 older gold crowns.

All of the tables are kept in good shape by Dave Coles.

The first event is scheduled for September 13th and is a "no masters" event.

Anyone rated as a master player by a major sanctioning body (BCAPL, VNEA, etc) or determined to be of at least master player skill would only be eligilble for the "open" events.

Once Again, What A Great Thing Dave Is Putting Together. Adding The Thousand Dollars To The Tournment, Taking A Chance That Nobody Might Show Up. So Hopefully All The Locals And Out Of Towners Show. It Great For The Working Man To Go To A One Day Tournment Pay $35.00 No Quarters And Be Home The Next Day. That Sounds Kind Of Funny Because I Remember About 5 Years Ago When I Didn't Work Ever And Just Played Pool. Anyway For All You Upcomming Players Here Is Your Chance To Get Good Or Great. Someone Might Never Add Money Like This Again If Nobody Shows Up For The Events. Hope To See Alot Of Players There. I Know It Going To Be A Streatch To Get Alot Of Players For The Masters Events But It Is A Race To Nine, For All The Players That Are Learning It Is A 35.00 Lesson To Play Some Of The Best Players In Wisconsin. You Will Get Better Trust Me. Again, Thanks Alot Dave For Supporting Pool.

Where in Beloit is it? I need an address so I can do a mapquest. Thanks

alright duane ya reeled me in. These tournaments are gonna be an absolute blast. Dave puts on one hell of a tournament and it should bring out some really good players. I will add though that is 1k added but prorated based on 64 player. But, and this is a big but, last night at Dave's weekly 9ball tourney he had 42 players show up so I can almost guarantee that all of these events will fill. The finals are a different story all together. 1500 GUARANTEED OR MORE. So support pool in one of the few decent rooms left in Wisconsin and we'll see you there.

The Carom Room is also known for having great calcutta's so bring a little extra and buy a horse or two besides yourself.

Personally, I would like to see the Open final event be 9-ball.

Duane
