Since you know Mike and his prices, elaborate and let us know what this cue would be worth new today. As a fellow dealer I know its annoying to hear I have something for sale and then not get a price. So many people are so fearful they will lose a dollar its atrocious...
I will give you a typical dealer / seller Valley Forge conversation, at least with me.
Seller: I have an xxxx for sale...
Me: How much?
Seller: Make me an offer...
Me: $ 1.00.. your turn
Seller: C'mon man.. a real offer...
Me: That was a real offer... your turn
Seller: $ 1500.00
Me: $1,200.00
Seller: $1350.00
Me: $1,000.00
Seller: But you said $1200 before...
Me: Yeah, well we're obviosuly still negotiating..
Could you imagine if every dealer and cuemaker put out booths and didn't have a single price tag?
