Bert Kinnister 9 Ball

I was watching several of the Bert Kinister tutorials on you tube the past few days and other than the really poor resolution on my television I noticed the Nine ball in many of them appears to be black in color with a yellow diamond on it.

Does anyone know what that nine ball is called or where it can be purchased?

Raschig.

I just got the answer from the man, Bert himself.

These balls come from West Germany, during the cold war. That set has not been made in at least 20 years.

I've heard Bert praise Raschig balls numerous times. Although I don't recall seeing that 9-ball when I played at his house in recent years. His first videos are from around 1988, so perhaps he lost that set.

Thank you so much. I have found a similar premier set by Aramith but it only seems to be available in Germany. Looks to be far cheaper then the set he had but it is still very similar and under 70 euro plus shipping.
