Bert Schrager Classic 6-Point Unsigned Cue.. Seeking Info

I'm wondering why everyone is so tight-lipped about helping me out with any kind of potential leads or even a peep of info about this cue??... I've seen lots of chatter on here about Schrager.. & he's one of the biggest names in the 'business'.. so what gives??... Maybe it's because I really have an extremely rare piece of his lineage..& everyone is jealous??.. Or I haven't been on here enough to warrant any helpful attention??.. Or nobody wants me to figure out how valuable this thing really is??... I see a lot folks looking at the images...

Or.. No one wants to break your heart since you like what you think it is now and sometimes in life that kind of hope is important.

But yes, it's also a global conspiracy being run by a multinational conglomeration that is secretly trying to buy up all signed Bert Schrager cues, and your super rare extremely valuable unsigned cue threatens us, I mean Their, attempt at cornering the market.

Oh well.. I guess I'll have to go seek greener pastures elsewhere.. I really naively thought I'd get a flood of genuine excitement and input around here...

My experience is that if one inquires about a valuable/desirable cue, AZBers will practically run him over with offers, even if he is not pursuing a sale. What do your friends and the rail birds in your local room tell you? I found that these local sources are the best place to begin my inquiries.

Regardless, pissing, moaning, and denigrating will not get one anywhere with this group.

I wasn't really pissing & moaning.. just genuinely speculating on why people might be so silent about such a rare, unique early beauty from one of the most renowned cue makers in cue making history.. It's been a few days now and just seems rather odd to me that nobody wants to say a word about it... I've been quite respectful to everyone all along the way...

I have been showing & asking the locals from the 'get-go' & nobody knew anything about it except Chris MacDonald said it looked familiar but couldn't remember the name he was thinking of...
The main response was "Wow!".. and "How much do you want for it?"... A few trying to snatch it up for real cheap...

I posted on a FB group and mostly got negative response.. but did get the lead on maybe a Schrager.. then definitely a Schrager from someone that lived & worked with him.. Douglas Ketcham

Any other ideas??...

Well, you seek specialized knowledge and the holder of such is likely not as engrossed in the Internet as many today are.

I'd think you'll get some legit input eventually...but who knows when eventually is?!
