I'd love to see the CURRENT best *money player* from each of the following regions stump up some cash and play a small tournament to see who came out on top.

America = SVB
Canada = Alex P
Mexico = (They guy who beat everyone recently, I forgot his name lol :p )
Philippines = Orcullo
Taiwan = Yang
Europe = Chamat
UK = Appleton
Japan = ?

Who would you pick?

I understand Orcullo is matching up more often, but no one likes it playing Efren for the cash. Ask Shane who made a courtesy challenge to play Efren (only if he won $40K or more).

Raphael Martinez might have something to say about that. LOL

Both of these guys are great players.

Orcullo likes playing Efren for the cash, and with good reason.

I would agree with that. Although, Rafael is not nearly in action as much as Chavez is, presently.

I doubt it. Afterall, one of Chavez' many nicknames is....

'The Mexican'.

Rafael Martinez may be good. No one is disputing that. But Chavez is the big action player that has been taking the US by storm in the last year.

Shane and Appleton are playing next week here in Kansas City I believe......... you also forgot to mention James Waldon......................

Chavez was the guy, def most recent active mexican money player, Im sure stalev beats stepanov for the cash as does orcullo Efren (as much as I love Efren)

I guess Shane is a big fav given what he's acheived in the past year, I assume they are playing 8 ball which def gives Darren a great shot?

I thought he was Taiwanese?

yes you're definitely right, Chao is Taiwanese.

As far as Taiwanese players go, Chao was the best money player in 90's but now Ching Shun Yang is unanimously the man.
