Best belt type chalk holder

I had a fantastic belt type magnetic chalk holder for 20 years. Poof, it must have fallen out of my case when a pocket was not zipped.
The magnetic was really strong and the one I have now is not nearly as strong and I find my chalk on the floor too often.

Looking for a really strong magnet. So what brand or brands has a strong magnet??

This simple setup is working for me. Magnet attached directly to chalk. I keep the free magnet(s) taped to the inside of a pocket. Able to stack multiple disc's to adjust hold strength.

Using these neodymiums...

V10 lasts!! Full 10 months of use so far.

I have tried so many chalk holders and devices and none of them ever satisfied me.
My needs are simple…..I want the chalk handy, easy to reach and minimum mess.

It is more popular with the Brits and European players. IMO, it’s the best way to carry.
A leather chalk pouch is inconspicuous & positions easily to reach and return chalk.

Where did you buy that pouch? I think I’ll invest. Thanks!

I also use a chalk pouch. I've never liked the appeal of the other types.

eBay…..there are faux leather chalk pouches and real leather.
Get the real leather since it ages and softens just like a holster.

Made my own.

Magnet out of an old microwave (they are very strong btw), and a belt clip from an old tape measure.

he can go get it or pay for it
I was thinking the same about Mika. I always liked just keeping it on the rail too, but I now realize quite a few folks don’t like that, so…my take is to accommodate my opponents wishes and try and start keeping my chalk off the table. It’s kinda like marriage, try to comply with all requests that are reasonable and yeah that chalk off the rail request is reasonable in my opinion. Besides it will give less chance of my cats getting into it at home.

I considered this but the price stopped me. Is it really that much better??
I've tried a variety of holders. The Kamui holder is the best one I've used. At $50 or whatever it is, it sound excessive but the magnet is strong, the case is light, compact, durable, doesn't ever let the chalk fall out, and works well with rounded chalk, too (I have the hexagonal one and use it for Taom). I've been using mine for two years now and I wouldn't change a thing about it.
