Best Break and Run Tournament Performance

I have heard many stories of players running out sets in tournament matches and in gambling matches. I am curious as to the best tournament performance in terms of overall break and run out percentage throughout an entire tournament. Anyone know of notable examples of a player keeping his opponents in their seat throughout an entire tournament?

Klenti won the lag on Alex, race to 8 at 10-ball….thats the only ball Alex got to hit…8 n out.

The biggest packs Ive heard of are Archer vs Busty. Archer ran 15+ I think? And Niels ran maybe 19? But I think it was practice. There are stories of Matlock and McCready putting up 20+packs on the barbox but I'm not sure how many actually witnessed. I think Bergman has a huge barbox package on film like 19ish.

Edit: sorry this isn't really what you were asking. I didn't read the post carefully

Dennis!!!

those aren't tournaments. but earl famously ran 10 or 11 in a tournament

There was a 9 ball tournament I attended at the bicycle casino in bellflower around 2005 in which Corey Deuel had his soft breaking dialed in and he broke and ran an insane percentage- not sure of the exact percentage but it was definitely above 50

I recall Miz losing a final race to nine without shooting….I believe it was Allen Hopkins did the deed.
Bob Vanover might’ve done the same thing in the Texas Open.

I don’t feel playing the ghost or playing games other than rotation belongs in this thread.

Rafael Martinez regularly ran out races to 5 when he was in my area for a while.
Arizona Lee reportedly ran out a race to 21, but I was never able to verify it. I never knew him to lie or embellish though.
I did talk to someone that witnessed him run 19 on an 8' table.

This was 8-ball?….on what table?….Jimmy Moore had a local run 22 racks of 8-ball on him at $2 a game in Pontiac MI….on a 7 footer.
