Who is the go to cue maker if you want a cue built with kielwood shafts and attention to detail.

He’s easily accessible on Facebook. But you’re free to peek at his website to learn more

I was told this week by a friend that wanted RIchard to build him a full cue and that Richard declined because he has such a backlog of orders for his shafts. I have one of his Hsunami shafts and it is wonderful.

I picked up one of his shafts at the beginning of the year. I have to say, I really, really like it.

Now I just have to wander over to Chris Nitti's place and ask him to put a matching ring on it…

How much are his shafts? Will he match ringwork? I'm thinking I need one.

Is that comparing similarly spec'd shafts on the same butt or a more general takeaway you have? Also was it Hsunami version 1 or 2?
I had a version 1. They had the same specs except Richard matched the rings on my cue. The Hsunami was/is a great shaft and the ringwork was top notch. On the same butt.

The Hsunami was a good playing shaft but it felt more whippy. Not as whippy as say a Meucci but apples to apples the Diveney feels stiffer. I can't stand a whippy shaft. I wouldn't exactly call Hsunami whippy but comparing the two I definitely like the Diveney better.

Either of the shafts are good but it's definitely one of those preference things.
