I know I'll get a tons of opinions (was more wondering who is taking orders). I was wondering who the best custom cuemakers are making customs at the moment that are possibly taking orders? The price doesnt' matter too much. I have a PFD in the process of being made and I love Paul's work. I also have played with some of Jim Pierce's cues and an Ariel Carmeli. I also have a Manzino and it is fantastic. Any cuemakers in particular who stand out that are making great cues? I'm looking to perhaps do a tuxedo cue or something cool.

I guess you’re asking about cuemakers that you can actually get a cue from any time soon.

A few recommendations from makers that I believe are taking orders are Pat Diveney, Steve Lomax and Bob Owen.

Check out Sickles custom cues. Jim does very nice top shelf work. Check him out on Facebook,he's located in Danville Indiana.

The Tascarella shop is taking orders & they’re great to work with. Bob Owen is doing great work, too.

Without a doubt, the hot hand right now is Bob Owen. His mastery of cue making has produced cue designs
customers have requested. Everything he’s done has exemplified splendor & absolutely flawless execution.
He’ll undoubtedly offer suggestions, as he did with my cue designs. Bob’s tastes and opinions are spot on.

My neighbor is Iwao 'Lucky' Hishinuma. He and his family make some great cues! Very tasteful designs and top-notch craftsmanship, the cues also play great. He learned from some of the best American cue makers.

I’m on South West list already. Thank you all for the suggestions. How about Nitti or Dzuricky cues, how do they play?

Bob Owen, Cody Cash(PK Custom Cues). both in Wichita. both make great cues and are awesome to deal with. Josh Treadway in StLouis is another.

Nitti cues play great
I second this. I went through a flurry of customs in the early 2000's but am now 99% certain that I have a "forever cue" with my Nitti. It's not the fanciest cue ever, but it's got points and rings. The construction quality is as good as any I've seen. But most of all, it just feels natural in my hands. Besides that, any time I've ever emailed Chris with a question he's gotten back to me within a day or two at the most.
