Best Custom Cuemakers?

Yeah, those morons! Totally going out of their way to call Laurie and get on the list with no deposit after a 2 minute conversation
Amen. It's not like people are calling to get on the list then just sitting by the phone waiting. Anyone who gets on that list knows what's up.

The Tascarella shop is taking orders & they’re great to work with. Bob Owen is doing great work, too.

My opinion on Tascarella is he isnt the cheapest, but he is fair priced and delivers a great product without any bull$hit you have to deal with many other cuemakers. He is really top notch.

Bob Owen has really stepped up his game, but I dont know his wait time.

The other one IMO, is Rick Howard. Probably the most underpriced and incredible cuemaker. I have owned many, many of his cues and he far exceeds my expectations every time. He is without a doubt worth talking to.

Rick Howard, very true.

Check out Iraggi custom cues on Facebook. He’s doing some real innovative stuff. Cues hit real good also. He’s got a hybrid wood into carbon fiber shaft that plays good.
Surprised no one said Josey cues. Great customer service along with great playing cues

Rick Howard, Joey Bautista, Larry Vigus, Bob Dzuricky this ALL are great to deal with.
As for SW, now 16 to 17 years. Mine in making now from May 2006

I have a DZ and I really like it. I do shoot with my Schon though, as it is a no wrap cue and I just like no wrap cues. I have talked to him about making me a no wrap simple design player, but have not followed through with it yet.

I’m on South West list already. Thank you all for the suggestions. How about Nitti or Dzuricky cues, how do they play?

My Nitti plays fantastic, as do they all. I've already told Chris that I'm going to be buried with mine. 😁

I think Chris's wait time is pushing two years right now, but worth it. I'd absolutely pick up the phone and give him a call. He'll answer the phone.

Another good option would be David Elliot. Chris's stepson and protégé who is beginning to make a bit of a name for himself. As you might imagine, his cues strongly reflect Chris's influence and play very, very similarly.

As I generally tell people, it's like getting a Netti in half the time, and half the price.

I think Chris Stopped taking orders .......I am not 100 percent sure but I heard that not to long ago. I have gone back and forth about getting rid of my nitti but I havent been able to decide lol

He has a few new cues available on facebook.

They have new cues available on facebook.
I know that but that's not what I meant lol I know he's making cues but no longer taking orders just building what he wants now and if you like it you buy it lol can't say that's 100 percent truth just what was told to me.

I hadn't heard that.

I know someone who just had a complete custom delivered about six months ago, but that's not to say things haven't changed.

I need to run down and see him to have him match a ring on a new tsunami shaft that I have one of these days and I'll ask him then.
