What would be the best training/educational billiards DVD for a beginner to buy to learn fundamentals, etc.?
TheBook said:First thing to do if you are serious is to take a lesson from a BCA instructor to learn how to grip a cue, and develop a stroke. Don't listen or follow your friends advice on how to do this. Work on this and after a few weeks take lesson 2 from your instructor so you will be able to learn aiming and speed. Work on it a few weeks and then take the last lesson. Then buy the Pro Book and DVD by Bob Henning. When you accomplished everything in the first book then buy the second. There will be enough to keep you busy for a long time and in the long run save you a lot of money and wasted time.
Am telling you from experience and wish I would have done what I am telling you. I am now trying to break a lot of bad habits that have been developed over the years.
