I've never bought any pool DVDs before and I was wondering what people would recommend these days. I was thinking of joe Tucker's racking secrets (1 and 2) and possibly banking with the beard (is the DVD better than the book?)

Appreciate any input, thanks

what specific part of your game do you think you need the most help on?

Well I don't know anything about racking and my banking is weak. Aside from that my kicking is very weak, and I'd like to learn more about choosing the right pattern when running out

if you are a newbie or not

his 2 videos are a MUST
especially 202
there is more on that dvd that will serve you for a lifetime
I CANNOT ENDORSE ANY DVD to tell you all you have to know
beards dvd and book should be bought together since theycomplement each others
brumbacks dvd is also great as it igives you the next level approach to banking
if you dont get beards dvd there are many concepts johns doesnt teach you

The 2 dvd's that top my list #1 for straight pool or any pool patterns is John Schmidt's how I run the 100s
#2 Grady Mathews kicks only not really an instructional but more info than some top players know. JMHO

Why, was there something wrong with the book?
I have two DVDs incidentally, Banking With the Beard -- The movie, and Banks that Dont Go - But do.

Freddy's banking dvds are fun to watch and contain a lot of good information. I don't care much for his musical tastes but I can tolerate them.

Thank you for the kind words.
I have learned something from every DVD I have watched. There are some good ones mentioned and I might add Bert Kenisters 60 minute work out and Tom Rossmans Monk202 if you can find them.
