Best Instructor in Chicago land area?

He's not Chicagoland close, but I had a single day of instruction from Jerry Briesath in Madison, WI that definitely bumped my level of play up a notch. I wouldn't rule out a 2 1/2 hour drive for quality instruction.

goto to red shoes billiards in alsip, talk to john zaksis, john lavin or jeff carter.....one of them will definitely be able to help you out.

Sometimes I am available.

Freddy the Beard

When I saw this thread, Freddy was the first person I thought of, but I didn't want to throw his name out there is he wasn't giving lessons anymore.

Depending on what you're looking for out of your lessons, I'd definitely go see The Beard!

For One Pocket lessons only, the answer without a doubt is Bruce Perry - and I believe that George Fels would also attest to this recommendation...if you are interested in One Pocket lessons, (or for that matter, anyone else reading this) you can pm me for contact info.

What about that guy that knows more about pool than any living human being that lives in Chicago. He got banned from the forums a while back. Some people claim he is back with a new identity but I don't believe it.

Hey Joey....And as a matter of fact, that gentleman of whom you speak, took One Pocket lessons for 2 years from Bruce Perry - and as hard as this is to believe..he actually listened to him and didn't debate, disagree with, or argue against what he was being shown/taught........:)
