best method for leveling GC1

Getting close to putting it all together. All painted, polished, cloth, now is when the rubber hits the road.

Once I get the base centered in the room I'll place and bolt down the superstructure that sits between the slate and the base. I will then level the base before adding the slate.

I am lucky my floor is concrete slab. My table is an older GC1 and does have adjustable feet.

once I get my slate on and get each one aligned so that they are all the same height and before I bondo the cracks would you then use the leg levelers to get the table level? I will also use the cue ball roll technique as it does show your high spots.

Any thought or suggestions?

Suggestion - Use a machinist level if you really want accurate results. Too many variables with the roll-the-ball method.
 
I thought there would be others that would chime in. Whatever levelling technique you use (there are many out there) you should rough level the frame by the legs, usually before the slate even goes on the table. Then fine tune the slate. Make sure each piece is level and they are all flush at the seams all the way across. Then and only then are you ready for bondo or any other material to seal the seams. Good luck! I'll post pictures. I'm adding a couple of extra can lights over the table (6 total) today Thought it best to get them in now so we would not be climbing all over the table. X's below show the lighting configuration.
