I am getting a mid size and need a uni-loc and bludworth arbor, but was wondering if there are any good sources out there with reasonable prices? Maybe I should just go the crutch tip route for odd size joints?

brianna?

Lee at http://www.briannaproducts.com sells some that are ok, but you still have some matching work to do when you're finished with them.

Lee's a great guy. Love my veneer blade & jig, shafts, ring cutter, shaft sealer, etc., etc.

I'd like to find some reasonable, accurate carbide sanding arbors.

Sanding arbors?????

Since you mentioned using a crutch tip, I think you mean "maintenance pins" not sanding arbors.

For the odd size joints, I wrap some rubber gasket material around the joint end of the shaft to protect it and chuck up on that. For as often as you run in to some, it just doesn't make sense to me to buy maintenance pins for every joint out there.
