Best value for a white modern pool table

I'm interested in buying this exact Ozone Billiards table now. How has it been for you? I contacted a local billiards shop that has been in business for over thirty years and he says he has set this exact table up for clients in my area and it is a pretty decent table accept it has shallow pockets that only accept three balls per pocket. What has been your exprience with this table, if you had a do over would you get it again? I also need to get a white table as well.
we got that table mostly for "looks" and it does look good, plays like most other "furniture" tables, plays kinda easy, cloth is slow, pockets are generous, but you heard correct, the pockets only hold three balls, you have to shuffle balls between pockets during the game. We had the matching undermount storage drawer also, which was nice.

If you need a white and modern looking table, to keep the wife happy, its a good choice. But there are better playing tables out there for less.

That white table belongs to my ex-wife and her new husband now, so I kinda hope it catches fire soon, LOL ;)

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it.

I've only ever had cheap Sporting Goods wood tables so it must be a step up form my past tables being that it is 1" slate and solid wood. I'm just an occasional recreational player, I don't know slow from fast cloth. lol Really, it'll be mostly for looks for my newly renovated white/black modern themed house. It is either a pool table or another couch set, I'd rather have a pool table. I'm likely going to get it direct from Alibaba and save $1000, it is the same China table that Ozone gets but they add a profit on top. I'm sure it won't be difficult to resell being that 7 ft white slate pool tables are not very common and can probably sell it for what I paid for it..

Sorry to hear about ex getting the table. That is a reason I don't believe in legal marriage, so I don't have to deal with that divorce bs.

What other table for less would you recommend? I'm looking for a modern pool table. Most modern pool tables are expensive. Also, the Ozone Billiards table you had can be upgraded to premium felt. I'm thinking I should upgrade to the "teflon" felt?

You dont have to put the cloth on that comes with the table, probably for $200 give or take a few you can have Championship cloth installed that will play similar to Simonis 860. I'm sure that your installer can help you with that.

I ordered the table with the black Predator cloth for an extra $240. When I get it I'll post it here and give my opinion on the table, it has a three piece 1" slate and all solid wood construction. From all the research I've done most players say to avoid black felt but the table will look so sick in my newly renovated house that is white and black. I have 9 extremely bright smart recessed lights in the room this table will be in so I feel the black felt won't be so bad to play on. If it sucks, when its time for new felt I'll switch colors to camel or light grey. My last table had red felt and I loved it but most of you all say red felt sucks but I'm no pro player. I need to experience black felt for myself.

Through my experience, choose the table size that leaves NO tight spots. If that means a seven-footer, then so be it.

I have an eight-footer in a room that is big enough for the table (except one very small section by the corner fireplace), but I'm constantly shooting shots with my ass sitting on an arm of a spectator chair.

Shooting pool on a bar box-sized table is much better IMHO than stumbling around furniture or having to use a short cue on certain shots.

When/if I ever replace my table, I'm opting for a seven footer myself. Hey, it's still shooting pool. I've actually seen pros shooting on them...imagine THAT 😉.

I'm with you on this! I'd rather play an unencumbered game on a smaller table than have a big table and deal with walls and obstructions. You learn to deal with clusters and maneuver through traffic on a 7', And tight pockets can make up for the lack of long shots.

Someone recently had a diamond for sale they painted grey with black lettering and it looked amazing. I would have a diamond painted for sure.

That looks nice but that is more than double the price I'm paying for mine brand new. I know Diamond tables are some of the best tables you can buy but it is not in my budget now and I'm just a casual recreational player. I've only ever had Sporting Goods MDF tables so this Ozone Billiards solid wood 1" slate table is a big step up for me. I've spent a fortune renovating house so my budget is tight right now. Really, I had just planned to get a basic $2500 Imperial Eliminator table but I read on here how cheaply made the table is. The main reason \I decided on this Ozone Billards table is because my local Billards store owner (30+ years in the business) had experience setting up this table for clients and said it was pretty good except for the shallow pockets. We'll see when I get it.

Built like a tank. I doubt you would ever need another table. Looks great also
This table I ordered (Same as the OP), supposedly has a lifetime warranty on all parts. It weighs 700 lbs! The solid wood is actually stained white and made for durability. The Rasson table is a great table for sure.

Had to check the dates between posts.... man that was a turn and a half...

I once played on a table with black cloth and found it very challenging- especially when shooting solids because there isn’t enough contrast
