best wax for piecing together GC slate?

what is the best wax to use when putting together the slate to a gold crown or any table?

then the next question is

what is the best way to apply it?

regular bees wax. some people melt it on and scrape it but i prefer to melt and "weld". see it on the how its made billiard table on youtube

best product for the application... You will hear many different suggestions but my 2 cents says as long as the slates are wick bonded with glue and the slate screws are properly installed it don't matter how its filled unless there is serious twisting of slate, you can use all types of fillers... But for many reasons I suggest bondo or bees wax.. Mostly bondo'

I am not a mechanic. Please don't take the suggestion of drywall mud or concrete as serious.

I would not recommend concrete either.. I have used Drywall mud for years, If the slate cracks are joined close enough, Only a very small amount is used anyway.. :thumbup:
