Best way to clean a coin operated table without disassembling the table.

I just bought an old coin-operated that sat in a barn for over a year without being used. When we dropped a ball in a corner pocket it didn't go thru the chamber to the area where the balls are collected. Upon further inspection there seems to be dirt built up in the holes blocking the ball. Is there a safe way to clean the table without taking it apart and possibly messing it up?

To do a proper cleaning you will need to remove the rails and slate to access the guts of the table. Hard to mess up the table unless you drop the slate and break it. Bring help.

the only way is the right way- bring a friend and take it a part. Boards across the table or take the slate and put on something else solid and sturdy, there's a ton of places for cleaning inside, you can inspect any weak or broken parts and springs, and best of all -you never know what kind of surprises you're going to find inside! 12 lbs of dirt, clothing, 108 pieces of chalk, dog toys, kid toys, halloween candy- it's always an adventure!
