Bet on Eurotour matches

No thanks :)

He's got some good results in the past, among them a win over World Champion Daryl Peach (10-9).

He will win against the spanish guy easily, I think.

Good answer ! It was a test :D He plays very sporty

Not only that, I saw he had good results against other good players too. (But he lost 10-4 against J?rgen Ritter, and I only lost 10-6 to him ;)) hehe.... Doesn't that mean that I am better than world champ Daryl Peach? :D

billbOK: You are from Switzerland? Haven't they been taking their national teams pretty seriously lately, with more camps, demanding the top players to do drills, tests, etc.? Same like Team Austria started to do a couple of years back?

It has really paid off for Austria, by taking the sport more seriously.

Well, looks like the end for the Yogi Bear in this tournament :D

Like taking candy from a baby.. (That ain't as easy as you might think)

Hope Jasmin will play next on poolmatch.tv now

Yes Roy, I'm from Switzerland. IMO the swiss federation doesn't do much to motivate and increase the level of the players, except about the youth and juniors. For them there is some camps of practice. I guess that there is also a training camp just before the European Championships. The personnal motivation of the players is the key, but a little help from the federation could be great... Too much good players stopped playing (like Samuel Clemann)...

Ok... Looks like the same problem everywhere... :(

the Norwegian federation has finally understood the concept of camps, after hiring Jorgen Sandman as headcoach for the national teams.

Think Team Norway will be better during the next years. Atleast I hope so... Norway is on top 4 when counting most won medals in the European Championships in all time, only beaten by Germany, Sweden and Austria. But Norway's last medal in the men and juniors division was over 10 years ago... :( If it wasn't for Line Kjorsvik Norway wouln't have had any medals at all since the 90's...

Switzerland has atleast players as Marco Tschudi. I am really impressed by him, both his style of play and his focus during matches.

Saw him in the European Championship when he lost in the final, and when he played Marlon Manalo in Liberec last year. Marco is a great player. But he lives in Germany now?

Anyway, time to go to bed... More exciting matches tomorrow, when it's the winner brackets.

Log on if you are ready to lose some $ ;)

Yes, Marco lives now in Germany where he plays in the team of Oliver Ortmann (BC Sindelfingen). He's a very strong player and also a nice person. Take also a look at Dimitri Jungo, he was junior world champion in 2000 and also the younger player to win an Eurotour stop the same year. He was only 17 yo. He just find a sponsor. So I hope we will see him much more in international events. There are also some other good one to come but I will keep them secret... so I can take you some money...
Good night ;)
