Not much on these threads about Ebay but didnt want anyone to get screwed. I actually had bought this cue from this guy before. This cue not worth 200 in my opinion. Cue is cracked in the joint and also cue has lots of dings. If you look straight in at the pin, you will see a crack that goes straight through from one side to the other. Only thing keeping this cue from splitting in two is the phenolic joint. Stay away.

Why not leave a negative feedback for him on ebay to warn potential buyers who are not on this Forum.

another one.....

It would seem that the economy has people doing whatever to sell a cue. It is a shame that the few who try to get away with stuff like this makes is harder for honest folks sell either on Ebay or AZ.

To answer the above question, if the seller returned the money paid for the item, in this case a cue, there is not a need to leave negative feedback. If the buyer had left negative feedback, it is not likely that he would have gotten a refund in most instances. It takes about 45 days to process a claim through paypal and it is a pain.

Thanks to the OP for the heads up. I am sure it will open some eyes up to that cue keep others from bidding on it.

He can still leave feedback even if he gets a refund or at least inform customer support.

he can....

You are correct, he can do all of those and more, but, I have a feeling that his first action item was to get his money back ASAP and not anger the seller. The seller would have to give up the money at some point after all of the proper channels have been gone through and the case settled. At least he did get retrabution. The seller's feedback was not perfect either, this should also be a warning to others. I personaly look over feedback before bidding on anything. Less than 95%, I will pay more elsewhere for that item, just not worth the gamble.

yeah your right
I almost got scammed on a schon but I got a full refund and after that I left one big fat negative feed back on his ebay shop and spoke to customer support about his items and abusive messages. they ended up deleting his account.

Ebay Police

Good show! I wish there was a way that Ebay could police accounts and be more proactive. They won't do anything until something is reported. I think if this happens to the same seller more than a few times over a short period of time, they should be banned for life. There should be a short case where both sides present information about the transaction and the original listing description. If it looks like a scam, then the seller is put on probation and his accout is watched. There should also be a way to ID the fact that the seller was involved in a scam via his listings. Be it a different color, an ebay warning, something.

I sold a case and cue to somebody on Ebay this year, The case was over 20 yrs old and the previous owner had tried to fix where the glue had seperated from the inner liner and outer shell of the case and used toothpicks and glue for a fast fix. I had no knowledge of this until the buyer pulled the cue from the case that I had bubble wrapped for protection and proceeded to pull the case apart again. He sent me pictures of what he had found and I sent a refund for the case and let him keep it. He still left me great feedback. My point is this, you don't always know everything that is wrong with an item.

True and you handeled it a great way, but others my refuse to refund or delay shipping till u leave good feed back first and other stuff, those people need to know that some people actually work hard to earn their money and scammers like them should iradicated.

return bids....

It all comes down to how you choose to take care of your buyers. I want the buyers to be happy with what they get and in as described condition. My biggest issue by far is getting the buyer to leave feedback for me. If I were the seller of the Mottey that had the joint cracked and dinged up, I would describe it as such or get it refinished/repaired or refund the $ to have this done by the buyer. The biggest thing I see with this seller is that he did not do so when he relisted his cue. That needs to be looked into by Ebay.

Was gonna leave feedback but we cancelled transaction so he wasnt responsible for paying the final vale fees. But when I did that, it took my option of leaving feedback away. When I saw him relist it, I knew he wouldnt mention it. Anyway, either way, stay away.
