Does anybody know where to shoot pool in BGC Manila? I escorted my dad here and am staying with him in St Lukes Hospital. Snuuker gave a great suggestion going to Puyat Super Bowl but it's too far to travel to play an hours' worth of pool by myself.

Walking distance from St Lukes Hospital would be great. Thank you guys for your time.

Go to Thomas Morato Blvd (T. Morato), it's only around 1-2 miles (10 minutes) down the road from St Lukes going towards Cubao. There are a few billiard places there. Going toward Banawe St, the first light after St Lukes is Sgt Rivera St. turn right. Go straight down that road to Grace Village 3-4 miles (20-30 minutes depending on time of day and traffic). Star Paper Company is there (Star Billiards).

That's too far! Puyat sports is nearer. Eastwood City is nearer. There is a Puyat Sports there but the problem is traffic

Thank you guys for the suggestions. Shooting pool is my time out from the rest of world.

Many good players are hanging out in the poolroom in the bowling alley at Robinsons Place (thnx) Mall in Malate. They have new owners there who have fixed up the tables and now they have action in there all day long.

Galleria mall is in Ortigas. I think you mean Robinson's Place Manila. Only a few blocks from there is "One Side" Japanese owned on Mabini St. For the last few 5 years most of the money games have been held there almost every night upstairs. You regularly see the top players in the Philippines playing upstairs. For the average Joe, nice Brunswick well maintained tables down stairs. Great if you are by yourself because they are some challenge tables.

Thank you guys once again for the suggestions. I'm back home on Guam now but I might have to escort my dad there again later this year.

dgem The only place close to St. Lukes with a pool table is a bar called Skippy's Bar & Grill. They have 9 foot table that has seen better days but it was fun to shoot on. I played with the employees there and they shoot great.

jaychi Maybe next time we could meet up and play a few.

Next time I'm bringing one of my cues with me!
