BHQ and Olney cues?

I have a friend with a good looking Olney cue, think its a 6 point shaft/buttcap.. Not sure of what its worth etc.. Also i ran across a forum and pictures of BHQ custom cues? Took me to a site stating he is currently not taking orders.. does anyone know the price range, or if anyone has one to trade/sell?

BHQ = Brent Hartman Cues. Brent posts here under BHQ and is an accessible, friendly guy. PM him and I'm confident he'll respond to any questions you may have.
 
do not know olney, but brent i do know

if you have a chance to get a bhq cue do so, they are GREAT CUES, i am a builder, and i have one on order as soon as he gets the time, the reason he is busy, very honest, easy to deal with, makes a fantistic cue for a very fair price.

BHQs

I just recently got a hold of one the first matching sets Brent (BHQ) made and they hit lights out. I love the way they play, I haven't used any of my other cues since I got these. Def great cues!!
 
I've had 2 Olney cues, but not a BHQ yet. The workmanship can't be beat for the money. A pro player who uses a Southwest said it played just as well. To me, it's a bit stiff. You definitely can't find a better value though. Jeff works on his cues 7 days a week, 18 hours a day, never goes anywhere. Highly recommended ...Tom

P.S. Jeff is a perfectionist !
 
I've heard wonderful things about Mr. Olney and his cues, I just have not tried them.

I have worked with Brent Hartman on some cues. Great guy and flawless work!!!

Never played with an Olney but I've had 2 BHQ cues and both were beautiful cues that played great.
 
I have a few Olney's I would be willing to trade...All in exceptional condition..pm if interested..
 
I can tell you there isn't a nicer guy or a better deal than brent hartman. The reason he is not taking orders is because so many people have found out about him and are quietly ordering cues. Some really big cue collectors have cues on order with him. Also brent does not do pointed cues to my knowledge. That may change but butterfly's are his specialty and he does them very well. My vote is for you to call bhq and see what you can get worked out. He may know someone selling second hand.
