I wanted to post a review of my new cue from BHQ(Brent Hartman),first off the build quality is excellent.Brent used very good shaft wood and his machine work is great!The ebony that he used for the butt is black,black,black,no streaks of grain showing!All the white is Ivory,ferrulles,joint,ring work and butt cap.He installed a black leather wrap to go with the theme of this cue,I wanted very thin silver rings with black paper to give this cue a classy touch and Brent nailed it!
Now for the good stuff,how does it play?Awesome!It move the cue ball very easily.It is very easy to use english,it gets a lot of spin on the ball but you can feel how much spin you are putting on the cue ball,it hits the ball very straight,not much deflection,I feel no need for a LD shaft.The hit is firm but not hard,just the way I like it!Over all I am very pleased with the way this cue turned out!:grin:
