I'm lost how to hit this. Inside just makes the cb go back'n forth across the table (for me). Outside is out of the question. A (how-to) video clip with explanation would be greatly appreciated. Don't care if he was loose at the time, what a great shot!

Takes a different type of stroke. He hit it with like middle inside, but the stroke or hit on cue ball is what's imperative. Corey Duel shoots those shots great too.

Try playing with various thin cut angles and speed and i am sure you will get it. The table condition also plays a bit factor. Basically it is a thin cut with a lot of inside that hit hit hard enough so the spin wouldnt bite immediately on the first rail but soft enough that by the time it hits the second rail the spin bites. This is a fairly common shot in 3 cushion and there are a few variations of thr shot using the same concept.

Carom players...good ones make that shot in their sleep. Almost all in the stroke. Johnnyt

Does anyone know the condition of the cloth? This shot might be easier on brand new cloth where the cue ball slides for a while without losing the sidespin.

I believe the cloth was about a month old but I could be mistaken. It was definitely broken in as this table gets a lot of play.
