Carlo Biado's campaign in the 2022 APF (Asian Pool Federation Ltd) Asian 9-Ball Open came to an end Saturday, August 27 after suffering a Round-of-32 loss. The 38-pool campaigner from Muntinlupa City was beaten by Vietnam’s Luong Duc Thien, 10-11, at the Aspire Recreation Centre in Singapore. However, James "Dodong Diamond" Aranas, Lauro Bongay , Johann Chua and Anthony Raga cruised into the quarterfinals.
