Big Tournaments

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me when there are some big tournaments coming up on the West Coast? more specifically Las Vegas! :D

Not that I'm interested in playing, but I've never been to a big tournament, and I really want to check out some good competition.

I always seem to miss those big pro tournaments in Vegas, Morongo casino ...the ones I usually just watch on espn2.

Plus it seems like a majority are always held in the mid-west, and living in the southern california area on a broke-a@@ college grad budget will not allow me the luxury of traveling very far.

..I know sometimes the weekly tourneys at Hardtimes occasionally draw a few pros, but I want to see what else is out there.

Additionally if I am going to make the trip and spend the cash to travel/lodge, what tournament do you guys recommend the most in the US?

And lastly, what pros have you seen play live? favorites? most entertaining to watch live??

As mentioned above in Reno..

If you are looking for specifically VEGAS...there was a recent announcment of the World Pool Masters at the RIV in early MAY...

Not to mention the BCA Nationals will be going on at the same time...There are actually a few "ameatures" that can really play some pool....and there seemed to always be some action going on at the action tables...
