I heard the 9ball tourny was going to start after the Calcutta tonight and then the tourny would be played round the clock, 24/7. Is that true ?

...completely agree!

James Walden won the open. He played phenomenal pool. For example, how about a four-rail kick to the 1, to carom off of it and pocket the 9, coming out of a dead-in-the-water safety. NOT slop; it was planned, lined up, and executed to perfection. That kind of stuff. Really incredible. Ladies and gentlemen, James Walden is back! Manny Chau came in second. David Parker was third. Cliff Joyner was up there, too, but I'm not sure if he finished fourth or 5-6.

Vivian Villareal won the women's tournament. Ming came in second.

Justin Hall and Richie Richeson split 1 & 2 in the one pocket event.

I'm not sure about the outcome of the Banks tournament. Justin Hall and Syvler Ochoa were playing in the final. I think they split it, but I'm not sure.

I didn't see much of the seniors event, but Jose Parica and Dennis Strickland were still going, late in that tourney.

I'll have to leave the full details and payout amounts to someone else...

Thanks for playing. You got to see Lil Jon in action at all hours as well again, lol.

And thanks for torturing me playing the few games of one pocket and 10-ball we played Wednesday afternoon.

It was great to see my home boys. Don't get to see them very often. If LJ is in the house, there will be action. For better or worse!:grin-square:

I don't remember our little practice session quite like you do. I was struggling, but got in stroke later and made a few dollars. Had ole Juice heckling me during a ring game (in a good way). Got me in dead stroke. I hope to make it back next year.
