If you read the thread on the biggest money game in the main forum you will see Greenway Billiards in Baton Rouge mentioned several times. I watched you play there back in the late 70's. Can you add any stories to the thread?
The place is closed now so all we have are the memories.

Since there is a similar discussion on the main forum, and since you have seen as much in pool as anyone, what's the biggest money game that you have ever witnessed in a pool room?

BackPocket9Ball, the biggest game that I've ever seen is the one I played in. I was playing 25 dimes a game, one-pocket and 9-ball. I've never seen that kind of money ever before bet. I was in Las Vegas at the time.

As far as other money games go, I was in Detroit when they were betting real high. There was a lot of money bet that you didn't know about.

As far as those two spots go, I believe that's the best two spots that I've ever seen.
