Bijsterbosch V Teutscher race to 100 (The next Nick and Niels :)

What is this? What tournament? Where is it? Nick who? Nick Varner?
 
It is Marc Bijsterbosch v Marco Teutscher in a race to 100 at 9 ball.

Being held in SPC Woensel club in the Netherlands.

Marc is in green and Marco red, and the scoreboard behind matches these colours.

They are ranked 3 and 4 in the Netherlands, and Marc recently won the European 10 ball chamionship. Marco got to the last 8 or 16 in the China Open, They are both massively talented.

The next Nick and Niels referred to van den Berg and Feijen :)

Is there a world event going on in Poland right now? I see all the players wearing orange. Looks like jail clothing, poor players.
 
Very strange, can't see who is in the field or anything?

It's the GB9 UK Open in 10 days or so, that's a Mosconi Cup points event (for team Europe), so there should be a lot of our top guys there.

It is odd that there is no advertising. Nothing on AzBilliards News Page either.
 
I think both Bijsterbosch and Teutscher still have a ways to go till they reach the level of Nick vd Berg and (especially!) Niels Feijen.
Although they sure are talented and work hard at it, both of them. It is just a level that is not for everyone.

That would be Warner Music Group. Presumably some of their music was playing in the background and they chose to issue a complaint.

I can't help it but to keep reading the title of this thread as: "Butterscotch V Teacher"
 
Yesterday day 2 of the race to 100 :thumbup:

Day started out with the score at Marco 53 / Marc 47.
Score went back and forth, until it was 89-85 in Marco's favor.
He then missed a relatively easy 7-ball and with that error the momentum went to Marc.
Marc, for the first time on the second day, became the front runner and started to pull away.
Marco made some more errors and the score the stood at 99-94 in favor of Marc.

Probably feeling the pressure Marc also made some mistakes which Marco capitalized on, and eventually the score read 99-99 :eek:

Marco made a good break and cleared the table to complete a remarkable comeback under pressure! :thumbup:

Yep, it was an awesome finale last night. And that last frame from Marco was not straight forward, he had to make several excellent positional shots to get out. Great stuff!!

I didn't say they are there yet, but Marc is 23, and Marco 25, so they have a lot of time. Everyone bangs on about Josh Filler, but the one person who beat him in China was Marco!

Actually Youtube have a bot that detect music and WMG have already announced that song not to be allowed on YouTube. Youtube block it automatic.. That how it works and it is annoying feature for live events or recording anything with music at background..
Smaller record companies not necessary block content but choose to add some Ads to that video..
