I like a firm hitting cue (Judd,SW)
Which most consider to be a very stiff cue.
I also like to hear the hit *click*
I really like one that i have seen, but if its not a very firm hitting cue, i have to pass. thxs
TheBook said:If you like a firm hitting cue try a Jensen. The one that I have is firm and a solid hitting cue. You can feel and hear the click when the cue hits the cue ball and I hear the same sound when the cue ball hits the object ball. It is like a echo. I hear a click click. You experience the first click and feel the resonance of the cue when you hear the second click. It is as if the cue is hitting the object ball directly.
I don't know if all of his cue are like this. I have a Mexican Bocate cue with no points, ivory ferrule, leather wrap.

Zylr cues play awesome. The old Zylr I used played better and stiffer than the Kersenbrock I play with now. Zeiler uses a euro taper on his shafts that make the hit very stiff. The butt also has a compound taper that adds more stiffness as well. The buckhorn to buckhorn joint has a very nice feel to it. I have a sneaky pete I ordered from him a while back and hope to receive it soon.swami4u said:yea jensen makes a hell'a cue for sure. I knew a guy yrs ago that sold cues for him. I just sent a email to Zylr cue. i might give him a call, anyone got anything to add about his cues?
