Anyone that has hit with a Bill Webb cue let me know what you think.
I like a firm hitting cue (Judd,SW)
Which most consider to be a very stiff cue.
I also like to hear the hit *click*
I really like one that i have seen, but if its not a very firm hitting cue, i have to pass. thxs

If you like a firm hitting cue try a Jensen. The one that I have is firm and a solid hitting cue. You can feel and hear the click when the cue hits the cue ball and I hear the same sound when the cue ball hits the object ball. It is like a echo. I hear a click click. You experience the first click and feel the resonance of the cue when you hear the second click. It is as if the cue is hitting the object ball directly.

I don't know if all of his cue are like this. I have a Mexican Bocate cue with no points, ivory ferrule, leather wrap.

I had a bill webb cue. The work on the cue was pretty nice. The shaft's hit so stiff ,that I could not get any spin on the ball at all. I could get more spin with my sledge hammer break cue. I sold the cue after about 2 weeks, it had a realy dead hit and all three shafts played the same and weighed about the same. Super stiff. This is just my opinion but I love cues with a real live hit easey to move the ball around my 2 favorite cues are a chris nitti and a kenny murrell them two guys make a realy awsome cue with a live hit just my 2 cents.

yea jensen makes a hell'a cue for sure. I knew a guy yrs ago that sold cues for him. I just sent a email to Zylr cue. i might give him a call, anyone got anything to add about his cues?

Josey makes a stiff hitting cue. I too prefer something stiff and have yet to find something that has the hit Im looking for. I play w/ an Omen now and it plays pretty good but Im looking for something a little stiffer. I think Im going to get a Josey sp.

I've played with a Bill Webb cue before and I think they hit reasonably firm. I've not played with a Southwest or a Judd so I couldn't campare to the two.

Zylr cues play awesome. The old Zylr I used played better and stiffer than the Kersenbrock I play with now. Zeiler uses a euro taper on his shafts that make the hit very stiff. The butt also has a compound taper that adds more stiffness as well. The buckhorn to buckhorn joint has a very nice feel to it. I have a sneaky pete I ordered from him a while back and hope to receive it soon.
His waiting list is 2 1/2 years now in case you did not know.

I own 1 and it hits very stiff. My 1 piece of advice is to pay for the upgraded finish. He usually uses an acrylic for the SP's.

Get one you'll have a tough time not keeping it. Mine makes a hell of a breaker.

Your correct I own Mike Webb cue(s), but if you look at my post I was commenting on the hit of a Josey SP.

My bad...I obviously misunderstood your post.

I kick myself now for not putting my name on his list when he had only a year wait and cheaper prices :(
