What's up billiard lovers?
I'm making a study of how much billiard is played around the world. my problem is resources. do you have any information about number of the players in your country/region or association, or any idea where it can be found?
please, let me know. the information will be collected and shared with anyone who desires to take part.
peace

US Sporting Goods Manufacturer's Association usually estimate about 35-40 million regular (1/month) players in the US as I recall.

Australian estimates about 1 million regular players.

China Billiards Association study claims 48 million regular players in China. What regular means was not stated.

Probably 200+ million occassional players worldwide I'd guess.

Hi Colin, that's very interesting info! do you have by chance a link to that China Billiards Association study? I'd really like to add it to my work
