No. Once an item is bid on, the Buy It Now option can't be used (unless the item has a reserve that's not met). This is a terrific assortment of books and I'll be in the bidding mix at the end.davidhop said:Great collection!!!
Any chance of a Buy it Now price?

Last year, a copy "Rags to Rifleman" went for $325 on eBay. When I see a price that high, I have to wonder if someone is selling the book to themselves to make a phony market. I see a single copy in the used book market ( http://used.addall.com/ ) for $380. About $90 is a fair price, but you can probably get it for $50 if you wait.Nostroke said:... Ill bid what i feel the Rags/Rifleman is worth plus 15 bucks.

Hey, I added up low eBay on the items and put in a little extra for the inscription in the Blue Book. I suspect that I will not be the high bidder after the snipers appear at the bell. If I do win, Nostroke has dibs on the Hall book.beetle said:Dag-nab-it Bob Jewett! Let some of the little people get a crack at this auction before your monster bids!!!![]()
You can't really pay much attention to isolated eBay bids or the prices attached to single-listed items on the used book searches. For example, Wayland Marlow's book about pool physics is listed used for $200 to $350. I'm selling them for $30 including shipping. The amusing thing is that one of the sellers gets her copies from me. I suppose I need better advertizing. I have about 60 of them.kilojo420 said:Youre kidding me right? billiardshot said:"Rags to Rifleman" should sell for $100.00 to $150.00. The question would really be - Does he have the promotion Buddy Hall / W.W. Woody Poster signed by Buddy Hall, that was distributed out with the book in1996. The reason to wonder, is he have Huckleberry Publishing Co. business card. When searching for books I use http://www.fetchbook.info
