Billiard Church got underway at the Carom Club in Grand Rapids, Mi on July 6th. After prayers for no kisses were requested the tournament commenced. From left to right and front: Dave Wiard, Tom Prins, Gary Scharf. From left to right and back: Mike Donnelly Sr, Dennis Doberstein, Steve Andersen, Al Wier, Michael Donnelly Jr, Dave Mason. During the finals a storm came through and we lost electricity. The final point was made in almost total darkness. p.s. our plan is to have Billiard Church the first Sunday of the month. Anyone is invited regardless of religious affiliation or no religion. We just want to play this beautiful game.
