Sorry for the repitition and posting this twice, but I wanted to be certain that everyone was aware of the status of, The Billiard Encyclopedia.

Dear Friends & Members,

I would like to fill you in on the current status of The Billiard Encyclopedia.
First I'd like to apologize to all those that have already bought the book and expected it's arrival May-June. We are going to be a little late. ( I promise, not 6 years this time) Some of the fault is mine, in that it's hard to stop adding to a book like this, but, I wanted this edition to be so over the top that it would make a lasting contribution to our sport.

I will continue to offer it (the regular edition) with free shipping in the U.S.A. (which can be substancial) until I have a firm date of arrival, and it's physically here. As it looks now the book will be here in July. Once I have a firm shipping date I will post it on the site.

I want this Billiard Encyclopedia to stand the test of time, so there will be no compromises for me. With 640 pages, 350+ new pages, 1000+ images, 5 foldouts, thousands of cues, new cuemakers and collector sections, additions to every chapter, etc. etc. will make this the difinitive edition for the ages. Some of you may have seen hand bound copies at Hopkins, or at our recent cue show in New York where the reaction was terrific.

In addition 150 of the 300 leatherbound collectors editions have been sold so far.

I hope this answers some questions. All I can say is, please hang in there a little longer and that the third edition will be well worth waiting for.

Thank you all for your interest and your patience.

I just went to your website to order the book. The leather bound is not offered... as far as I can tell, and the website wants to charge me shipping. So, I'm holding off until you can tell me more. Thanks, Jim

Looking Forward to it

Some things are worth waiting for. I am glad I bought mine and appreciate the update.

I checked your website, but it didn't mention anything about the leatherbound editions (only the regular edition @$150). How much do those run? Is paypal an option?

I might be interested in one of the leatherbound versions, but I can't find any information (including the all important price) for them.

Additional information would be great.:)

Gentlemen,

The Collector's Edition will be $750.00. These have always been very popular in the past with some editions now selling for $1500.00-$2,500.00.

The limited edition will be hand-bound in the finest goatskin leather, with 22 karat gold stamping and Simonis billiard cloth. It comes in a clamshell box with matching leather label.

Mostly we make them for the for ourselves, people in the book, as well as collectors.

To order one it's best to call me as there are a few details that need to be worked out over the phone.

If you want to order regular editions with free postage in the U.S.A. only(this offer is only available until the books arrive) I suggest you call me for details as well.

Thanks,
Professor Cue
