What makes these "billiard shoes" as opposed to just "shoes"?

Nothing. Nothing at all. They're shoes you can wear for pool OR to sell cars in.

Joey, those are great socks! Swiftwick makes some awesome socks as well. I added some gel inserts I purchased at a trade show to my Ecco shoes, makes them even more comfy.

The best billiards shoe I ever saw was in a cartoon. The shoe had a 2 foot long toe so that when sitting on the rail for a long shot the toe touched the floor. It meets the one foot on the floor rule. Mitch
