Billiard table

Hi everyone,
Need an advise on carom tables. I live in Australia (Mel) and I am planning to get one for my home in the near future. Currently exploring options, need help to choose the right one. The few brands that I could think of are Verhoeven, Gabriels, Chevillotte, Soren Sogaard, Breton and perhaps Platin. However I am open to any suggestions. Perhaps you might have in mind a not-that-famous brand which could offer quality? Fine by me. I'll be glad to explore options... What would you guys suggest? My budget is bit limited but I do not want to compromise on quality. I guess good price plus good quality is the ultimate combination I could ask for...
Thanks in advance for your replies!

Don't discount the antique Brunswick tables. They are usally affordable and If the table is in a climate controled environment and the cushions have been replaced with european rubber, you'll find play that is very close to a heated table. Best of luck with your search.

Looking to buy a new carom table or a second hand in a immaculate condition

Thanks Tiger 37373,
The thing is that I am looking for a new table mostly... I suppose if I get my hands on a second hand table in a very good condition I could reconsider buying a new one... It looks like Verhoeven attracted my attention the most with quality and price... But I will wait until I find the best option. Plenty of time, no rush...

Boy I wish I had your problem.

Your list is pretty exhaustive. There's a couple more

Here's my rundown

Verhoeven Very nice table can't go wrong.
Gabriels Also very nice. 2010 World Championships Played on these.
Chevillotte Great table but on the modern version the rail top is higher than the cushion which can cause shaft dings.
Soren Sogaard Unless diligent with upkeep these play short also have the higher rail top issue.
Breton and Platin - Unfortunately I haven't had the pleasure to play on these. Both are used in international competition.
