billiard torrent

these torrents seem like the best way to download. with a modem connection, how long can it take to download a match??
 
not long , i downloaded about 4-5 match during night if not more , i would say 2 -hours 1/2 hour to download what you need !
 
Torrents are pretty worthless imo. You can only download torrents that are seeded. Meaning that they will only be available for download for a few days max. Get DC++, go to interpool.dnsalias.com and set your connection to passive in the options. After you have that working then you can try to figure out how to get it to work in active mode.

Nah, not really true... If the torrent is at all slightly popular, it should have many seeders for a long time. Even if it is something less popular than, say, a new movie release, if there are people dedicated to keeping the torrent alive, it will stay alive. With each downloader there is a chance that he will seed it for some time. I've downloaded torrents that are over two years old, still with dozens of seeders. And, on the billiards torrent tracker site in question, it appears that most all torrents have at least a few seeders. People there are really dedicated to seeding these billiards torrents, not just downloading and taking them off their seed list. Works really well!

I agree with that. Please upload the file after finishing download for others people can download it. At least keep the download/upload rate >= 1.
