Took a little vacation a couple weeks ago. Went to Drexaline Billiards and played with Joe. Good tables, friendly people. Next was Premium Billiards, Syracuse. Can't say enough about the welcome I got and the quality of their 2 tables. Visit and play often. They deserve support. Went to Boston and played at Mazin's room. Great tables also. Only played one day. Spent all my time lost or in traffic. Came home early. Not the Boston I remembered from the 70's.

Dave, let me know the next time you decide to go on a trip like that. I would be more than happy to tag along. Makes you appreciate a good table huh? Not like the rag we play with right now :D

Glad to see you made it home OK. My room should be done in about 3 weeks, can't wait. Good to see and play with you. Joe

Dave, I wonder how much Yura would charge to come down and fix the table at Q Masters? Not that Barry would actually pay for it...lol. But just a thought until we can find someplace else that has a 3 cushion table in our area. We definitely need more places to play :(

Thousands, which I'm not willing to invest. Should have gotten a good table to begin with. I think they saw BB coming and gave him an inferior table. He meant well.

Dave, I think the mechanics(Eric) in VA just don't know what they are doing. I'll bet Mr. Okk could straighten it out.

When is Dennis setting up a 3 cushion table? I'd be more than willing to take a little drive and play with him. That would scratch off one of my Dieckman items on my bucket list ;)

I'd love to just spend the day with him at his shop. I'm sure he would be full of stories and info.....and alot of other things as well...lol

Is it really the 'other' things you're interested in! ;)

No not really. The man is a noted cue builder and instructor who's been around the block a few times. He has served his country and seen things most haven't. All it takes is one look at his videos or FB page to see the man is truly "One of a Kind". Most younger people don't appreciate what the older generation has gone thru. My time with Grady Mathews is something I will never forget. There are a few others I have on my list of "sitting down and talking to" before they leave us. Danny Diliberto...Billy Incardona....Ernie Gutierrez of Ginacue...Jay Helfert....Bill Schick....Raymond Ceulemans....just to name a few on my pool/billiards bucket list.

The "other" things are for someone else to discover ;) I've had my share already...lol

All the people you've mentioned, I've been around and were and are, 'friendly' with for the last 50 years, some very close!

Life's TOO short, to be TOO serious!
