just checked the video from Scott (Side Pocket) to get some tips for Exam II.

Impressive performance on drills 7 and 8 getting 13 out of 14 points. But there is a mistake in the overall calculation.

Total score is only 91:

BU Exam II (Doctorate): S1:10 + S2:15 + S3:14 + S4:13 + S5:12 + S6:7 + S7:6 + S8:7 + S9:4 + S10:3 = 91

Thank you for pointing this out. I've made the correction.

Keep looking, because if you can take away 1 more point from either of his Exam I or Exam II scores, I will be even with him for the top spot! 🤓

New suggestion for Exam II 😝 :

Bonus points for pocketing the ball in the called pocket in S6 (kicking).

(I just made 3 bonus points)

Ruling question:

how many points is this break? 4?

(Is a perfect 5 point break except for an unlucky kick in the middle without touching any rails ;))

See the Exam II document. That is a 0! An unlucky 0, but a 0. To avoid this sort of thing, I recommend using slower speed, where it is fairly easy to get a 4 or 5 almost every time (with a good rack and decent hit).

But another Pink going for Triple Crown in Exam II and the Title of Mr. Pink

I appreciate and respect your enthusiasm and commitment. We don’t have any plans at the moment to do another Challenge. We probably won’t do another Challenge until we come up with an Exam VI, whatever that might be, but Exam I and/or Exam II divisions will probably also be included, as in the past.

😥

then I guess I'll stop practicing after reaching 190

You could put out some reward for reaching a perfect score - 1500$ from last challenge were not used 🤔

Thought you were interested in seeing someone post a perfect 200...

If you can get a perfect score of 200, I will be happy to send you $500 bonus with your free printed diploma. So keep practicing.

We have offered serious money in the past, several times (see Challenge Competitions), and we didn't get a 100 on either Exam, and we had some strong players give it a go. Wouldn't it be cool if you could be the first?

Go for it. Maybe I will also. Every time I work hard on the BU Exams, I get a boost in my game.

I still want to get a perfect score (100) on the RDS 100 version of Exam IV. Nobody has done that yet either, but it seems more easily achievable than a 100 on Exam I or Exam II.

Good luck!

After I post a 94+ in Exam I (need to figure out a way to make stop ball and draw from position 7, after this I feel I could post a 94+ daily. But still can't figure this one out after 2 years of trying) I'll go for a perfect score in RDS 100.

RDS is just a math problem, I can reach last level with perfect score 3 times a week (trying full time) but am less than 5% to run out 15 balls at the moment. So I would need either 2 months of trying or finding a way to improve my break and run out skills in 15 ball rotation. 🤷‍♂️

And I'd prefer 2 beautiful trophies for each of the perfect scores (Exam I is realistic, Exam II so far only with the bonus points suggested above) to the small prize money (in relation to the amount of time needed).
