You've had your Billiard Workbook for several months now, are you using it?
Any feedback would be welcome. I'm looking for a better way to fill my time at the table than practicing my one pocket break. I can only practice during the day so I end up being the only one at the pool room most of the time.

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,

I highly recommend this Billiard Workbook. It will definitely keep you busy. You may not use every drill in the book but I am certain that there is something for everyone. I went through and picked out some of the drills that I felt I needed to work on or refresh and put them in a smaller binder so I didn't have to lug the big book around. Not only does it refresh your fundamentals it also makes you figure out how to shoot different shots and how different english reacts. It will definitely help with your position play.

It is a great thing to refer to if you are having trouble with your fundamentals. The repition helps get you back into your rhythm.

Let me know how it goes.

Take care,
Sarah

Where can we get the book? I am always looking for material to practice with. Thanks!

Thank you sjm.

Cut shot, I highly recommend the Billiard Workbook. If you do order it try not to look too suprised when you realize just how much is in the book. It can be a little overwhelming at first but your game will appreciate it. Anyone here who orders it, be sure the let me know what you think.

Good luck,
Sarah

As a free alternative........

Hi guys,

Just in case you can't get a hold of the billiard workbook, there are a couple of places on the web that have some pretty cool drills and exercises:

http://www.barenada.com/pool.shtml

http://www.geocities.com/blkjackds12/

I highly recommend Blackjack's site, it has got some drills that will keep mortals entertained/frustrated for 100's of hours. Pool gods like Sarah will probably finish them in 15 minutes or so :p.

Sorry to hijack your thread Sarah! :)

Cheers

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the links. I don't think I am a "pool god" or anywhere close....maybe someday though :) The links are helpful to me too and I'm glad you could help everyone out.

Thanks and take care,
Sarah

You aren't. You're a pool goddess!

Maybe someday guys...at least I hope :)

Dave....the grape crush?!?!?! Holy cow, settle down. Thanks again for the links.

Take care guys,
Sarah
