easily the most beautiful woman to ever play serious pool. There are others out there that are hot or sexy, but this woman is downright supermodel gorgeous. And with a name like Anastasia... wawaweewa. Very nice... I like!

I knew you'll love the pics guys. I will try to convert her to pool and probably join WPBA. But only if she wins enough in pyramid and if she gets skilled enough in pool. Otherwise it makes no sense - the place of a nice looking chick who can't shoot straight must be already taken :confused::thumbup:

Thank you for the pics, the "insider" info about Nastya, and for your efforts to bring her more into the limelight.

I think noone would argue, with her skills at the Russian Pyramid table, and her snooker stance/style, that she already shoots straight (probably straighter than some of the well-known names of players that were already used for comparison purposes). The question, like you mention in another thread, is whether she can understand (and execute!) the strategy in pool. I.e. whereas in Russian Pyramid you can shoot at any ball on the table, the strategy with pool is in understanding patterns (in the case of pattern games like 8-ball, Straight Pool, and One Pocket); controlling the cue ball (important in all pool games); and the various different kinds of safeties peculiar to each and every type of pool game so as not to "sell out" the game to your opponent in case you miss. If she can get all that and combine them with her straight shooting, I'm sure she'll do well in the WPBA, no?

I have been to Moscow and Saint Petersburg and anyone thats been there would not be surprised that there is such a nice, pretty young lady playing pool. These are wonderful, beautiful cities with a bountiful number of gorgeous women.

I never did find a pool room though, guess I didn't look hard enough.

Not talking shit about her at all... she is pretty cute and all ... but that eastern euro look she totes around is VERY common in my neck of the woods.

Hate me fellas, I know, it is hard life over here :D

my buddy, when I asked if it bothered him that she didn't seem to speak English, replied that after 15 years of marriage to his wife he would prefer it.
 
i'll try and keep this "POOL" related in part, but sorry, i'm unfairly prejudice...

many are very beautiful it's true...

but many more have greater beauty than physical features.

my wife is russian so of course, she is the most beautiful girl in the universe to me...

but; she has a heart and mind that goes way beyond the physical features. such a beautiful heart and mind to my way of thinking. don't believe me... so better to ask a russian like Vahrmurka. i am sure he can tell more...

most of you do not know me, i don't post much anymore. kind of 'just faded away'. i suck at pool anyway. no loss.

but i just would like to say there is more than just beauty here, even as Vahmurka posted 'natural' pix of Anastasia, there is more than just talent in pool games and russian pyramid... there is a beautiful russian heart.

You *do* know that game is Russian Pyramid, right? And caroming the cue ball off an object ball, into a pocket, is scored as a point, right? There's a thread about Russian Pyramid in the Main forum, with pictures of the pockets in relation to the balls (only 2mm clearance on either side of the ball), as well as rule descriptions.

That is, unless, you're pulling a fast one by being facetious? :D
