I think that if the technology continues long enough to have an actual product to market, that there will be someone to experiment with it. If they can duplicate all of the details about skin, it might make a decent tip. Who knows? 
Sorry to cut the mental masturbation short, but unless cows and water buffalo go extinct or become some type of protected species, they will continue to be slaughtered for food and hides. So is there really a reason to try to replace something that by the nature of the material itself, is always going to be available, and is pretty much perfect as is? :thumbup:
